Specially marked Campbell\u2019s soup varieties to offer plantable tomato seeds for limited time<\/em> <\/p>\n\n\n\n

TORONTO, April 20, 2021 \u2013 <\/strong>Canadians can now enjoy Campbell\u2019s<\/em>\u00ae soup along with an opportunity to plant and grow their own tomatoes at home. In honour of Earth Week, Campbell Company of Canada is announcing the release of limited edition Campbell\u2019s<\/em> Creamy Tomato and Garden Vegetable Minestrone soups featuring plantable tomato seeds on the specially marked cans. These tomato seeds are embedded on a plantable paper disc that was developed in collaboration with Seminis\u00ae brand\u2013 a key tomato seed supplier that provides seeds to the farmers who grow and harvest some of the tomatoes for Campbell\u2019s soups.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The launch represents a larger initiative for both brands to inspire Canadians to celebrate sustainability and actively share in the journey of growing a more sustainable world. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Seminis is also passionate about bringing fresh, high-quality and nutritious produce to consumers, and promoting their commitment to sustainability through this campaign.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

As an added element to the limited release of the tomato seeds, Campbell and Seminis are also launching a special microsite<\/a> providing more information on the collaboration and sustainability efforts of both brands. The campaign site also features video spots highlighting the journey a tomato seed takes from the field to table, as well as helpful tips on how to best grow the tomato seeds at home. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
